Friended, a screenplay

"Friended" is a story about social media, solar energy, guilt, assassination, corporate maneuvering, and friendship.

I wrote this screenplay in 2009, when I was first dipping my wary feet in the murky waters of social media.

The story follows a loner named Paul Euler, who has just started over as a maintenance tech at a new alternative energy company called Sunstar.

Sunstar is about to launch the Prometheus satellite -- "The new fire from the gods" -- that will capture solar energy in orbit and beam it into homes on earth.

Renewable energy for the masses.

But not everyone wants Sunstorm to succeed, and Paul gets caught in the middle of the murderous plot.
